Mountainscapes
I have a special love for the landscapes of Canada. Being further north, the light hits a different way. The Kootenays are striking for their long, distinct mountain ranges. The people I've met have been lovely, and quite very importantly, the EV charging was ample. It was the first time I was compelled to do landscape photography with a wide-angle lens, a 21 f/3.4.
If you do an EV road trip through Western Canada as a U.S. citizen, you should know that you can activate the Co-op chargers with the Shell Recharge app. It would've helped me in the tiny town of Maple Creek SK, where the card reader was broken but the charger was fine. The other major networks in Western Canada – FLO, BC Hydro, Electrify Canada, Petro Canada and Chargepoint – are all decently reliable. The Plugshare and ABRP apps are pretty dandy and will get you home.
